The majority of our orders are shipped with various carriers. Sometimes we use other carriers to deliver specific orders or to ease the load on the main carriers to meet our delivery promises.

The expected delivery time is always shown on the product page. Most products that we have in stock are shipped the same day. The evening before delivery, you will receive tracking information with a time window for the delivery. Important to know: the drivers of our chosen carriers deliver the products to the front door on the ground floor.

Also, for larger products such as granite sinks, large fragile sinks, cabinets, etc., you will receive a tracking code in the evening. These products are not delivered to the neighbors and a signature is required, so someone must be home to receive the product. Note: these large products are not delivered on Saturdays!

If the delivery of a large product fails on the first attempt, the carrier will contact you via email or SMS to send you a schedule so you can choose a time when you will be home.

Delivery surcharges of €30 to €100 apply for shipments to islands, due to additional logistical costs such as water transport and limited accessibility, and there are surcharges for pallet shipments for transporting fragile and heavier products.

Indux Up & Down – Retractable Kitchen Outlets for Countertops and Kitchen Islands

Discover Indux Up & Down, a practical collection of retractable kitchen outlets that combines smart functionality with a sleek, space-saving design. These retractable outlets are elegantly integrated into the kitchen countertop, cooking island, or cabinet and provide three grounded power outlets that are easily accessible when you need them. Thanks to the retractable mechanism, the outlets neatly disappear back into the countertop after use.

The Indux Up & Down series is available in black and silver, with compact installation dimensions of 60 mm and larger versions of 100 mm. In addition, select models feature two integrated USB-A ports for charging smartphones and other mobile devices. As a result, Up & Down offers a stylish and functional solution for modern kitchens, kitchen islands, desks, and workspaces.

Pull-out kitchen outlets for a clutter-free countertop

The key feature of Indux Up & Down is its practical pull-out design. When additional power outlets are needed, the outlet unit can be easily pulled up. This makes the three grounded outlets immediately available for connecting kitchen appliances.

After use, the unit can be retracted back into the countertop, leaving only the compact top surface visible. This creates a neat and minimalist look without permanently visible power strips or loose extension cords.

A retractable kitchen outlet is particularly practical on a kitchen island, where traditional wall outlets are often less easily accessible. Indux Up & Down also offers a space-saving way to integrate additional electrical outlets into modern kitchen countertops.

Three grounded outlets in one compact power column

The Indux Up & Down collection offers models with three grounded outlets. This allows various electrical appliances to be plugged in from a single central location in the countertop.

Think, for example, of using a coffee maker, blender, food processor, or laptop. Thanks to the three outlets, a separate power strip on the countertop is needed less often.

The outlets support a maximum total load of 3,600 watts. This allows you to use various compatible appliances, as long as their combined power consumption remains within the permitted load.

The compact, retractable design makes Up & Down particularly well-suited for kitchens and workspaces where a practical power supply is desired without compromising a sleek interior.

Compact recessed outlets with a 60 mm mounting hole

For kitchens and furniture where space is limited, Indux Up & Down offers compact models requiring a mounting hole of just 60 mm.

These slim, retractable power columns combine three grounded outlets in a compact housing with external dimensions of approximately 71 x 71 mm. This allows for the integration of an additional power source without requiring a large cutout in the countertop.

The compact design is particularly well-suited for smaller kitchen countertops, kitchen islands, desks, and other furniture applications where space-saving is important.

Depending on the model selected, the 60 mm versions are also available with two USB-A charging ports. This allows electrical appliances and mobile devices to be connected to the same compact unit.

Retractable outlets with a 100 mm mounting diameter

In addition to the compact models, Indux Up & Down also offers larger recessed kitchen outlets with a required mounting opening of 100 mm.

These models also feature three grounded outlets and provide a practical solution for kitchens and workspaces where sufficient installation space is available.

With external dimensions of approximately 115 x 115 mm and a height of about 293 mm, these power columns provide a functional power supply for modern kitchen countertops and larger desks.

The larger versions are available in black and silver and can be selected with a Type E pin grounding or Type F edge grounding. This ensures a suitable version is available for various European electrical installations.

Kitchen outlets with integrated USB-A chargers

For added convenience, Indux Up & Down offers select models with two integrated USB-A ports. This allows smartphones, tablets, and other compatible USB devices to be charged directly without a separate USB power adapter.

The USB versions combine three grounded outlets with two USB-A charging ports in a single compact, retractable unit. This allows, for example, a kitchen appliance and a smartphone to be plugged in at the same time.

The integrated USB chargers are particularly practical on kitchen islands, kitchen countertops, and desks where mobile devices are used regularly.

According to the product specifications, the USB-A models have a charging capacity of 2.1 A. For devices that specifically require USB-C or fast-charging technology, a suitable alternative should be selected.

Available in stylish black and silver

The Indux Up & Down series is available in two modern color options that complement a variety of kitchen and interior styles.

• Black: a modern and distinctive finish that pairs beautifully with dark kitchen cabinet fronts, black kitchen faucets, natural stone countertops, and minimalist interior designs.
• Silver: a timeless metallic look that pairs perfectly with stainless steel sinks, kitchen appliances, and modern kitchen interiors featuring aluminum or stainless steel accents.

Thanks to the various finishes, the retractable kitchen outlet can be coordinated with the countertop and other details in the kitchen. When the unit is not in use, the design remains compact and subtly visible.

Type E pin grounding and Type F edge grounding

Indux Up & Down offers various grounded outlet models for use in European electrical installations. Depending on the model, you can choose between Type E pin grounding and Type F edge grounding.

• Type E pin grounding: a grounded outlet with a protruding grounding pin, as is common in Belgium and France.
• Type F side-grounded outlet: a grounded outlet with grounding contacts on the side, as is common in the Netherlands, Germany, and Austria.

Both versions offer three grounded connection points and the same maximum total load of 3,600 watts. When choosing a kitchen outlet, it is important to consider the country of installation, the plug type used, and the applicable electrical regulations.

Ideal for kitchen islands and modern designer kitchens

A kitchen island offers plenty of extra workspace, but installing electrical outlets can be a challenge. Traditional wall outlets are often not easily accessible, and freestanding power strips don’t fit well with a sleek kitchen design.

With an Indux Up & Down retractable outlet, three electrical outlets can be integrated into a practical location within the kitchen island. When the outlets are needed, the power column is simply pulled up.

After use, the unit can be retracted again, keeping the countertop uncluttered and allowing for optimal use of space.

This solution is particularly appealing for modern kitchen islands, luxury designer kitchens, and renovation projects where additional power outlets are desired without large, visible outlets.

Also suitable for desks and furniture applications

In addition to kitchen countertops, Indux Up & Down offers practical solutions for desks, conference tables, and multifunctional furniture.

The retractable outlets can be integrated into a suitable furniture structure, making power connections available without cables and loose power strips remaining constantly visible.

For home offices, the models with USB-A charging ports are particularly useful. These allow you to connect a laptop, monitor, and other compatible electrical devices, while mobile devices can be charged via USB.

The various installation diameters offer flexibility when designing and furnishing workspaces, offices, and multifunctional furniture.

Easy installation in a countertop or piece of furniture

The Indux Up & Down outlets are designed for recessed installation in a suitable countertop or piece of furniture. Depending on the model, a round mounting hole with a diameter of 60 or 100 mm is required.

The various models come with a power cord approximately 1.5 meters long and a plug, allowing the unit to be connected to a suitable grounded power outlet.

During installation, there must be sufficient clearance beneath the countertop to allow the retractable mechanism to move fully. This is especially important for countertops with drawers, kitchen cabinets, or other built-in appliances underneath.

Always check the installation dimensions, required installation depth, and available space for the selected model beforehand.

IP20 Protection and Safe Use

The Indux Up & Down kitchen outlets have an IP20 protection rating and are intended for use in suitable, dry locations. They are not protected against splashing water and should therefore not be considered waterproof kitchen outlets.

When installing in the kitchen, it is important to maintain a sufficient distance from the sink, faucets, and other potential sources of moisture. The exact placement must comply with applicable electrical installation regulations and the manufacturer’s instructions.

The combination of three grounded outlets, a maximum load of 3,600 watts, and a compact, flush-mountable design provides a practical power supply when the product is properly installed and used.

Indux underscores the quality of the Up & Down collection with a 5-year warranty. Thanks to its practical retractable design, various mounting sizes, and the option to add USB-A charging ports, this series offers an attractive combination of functionality and modern design.
